These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, donation platform, and any digital services associated with the AlertNet™ public-safety initiative.

1. Purpose of NFSI and AlertNet
NFSI is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to developing and deploying AlertNet™, a real-time firearm and violent-incident early-warning system for public safety.
By using this site or contributing financially, you acknowledge that:

Donations fund research, development, and deployment of public-safety technologies.
NFSI is not a political, advocacy, or lobbying organization.
2. Donations & Payments
A. Donations Are Voluntary and Non-Refundable
Unless required by law, all donations made through this website are considered final and non-refundable.
This ensures funds can be allocated immediately toward development and safety objectives.
B. Payment Processing
We use secure third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
By donating, you agree to their respective terms and policies.
NFSI does not store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment data.
C. Recurring Donations
If you select a recurring donation option, you authorize NFSI to automatically process payments using the method on file.
You may cancel recurring contributions at any time by contacting us.
